The Board of Trustees oversees the short-term and long-term goals of the school, which include strategic planning, development, finances, operation and facility improvements.

The responsibilities of the Board of Trustees include but are not limited to the following:

• Accepts accountability for the financial future of the school, engages in strategic planning, assumes responsibility for the preservation of capital assets, and oversees the operating budget and fund raising.
• Sets annual goals related to the strategic plan, and conducts annual written evaluations for the school and the head of school.
• Engages proactively with the head of school in cultivating and maintaining good relations with school constituents as well as the broader community, and exhibits best practices relevant to equity and justice.
• Meets monthly to review finances and all pertinent issues relating to the operations of the school.
• Maintains a direct line of communication through regularly scheduled meetings between the Board of Trustees and parents during the school year.
